Amazon listing optimisation: the 10-point checklist we use internally
Every listing we optimise goes through the same 10-point checklist. This isn't theory — it's the exact process we use for clients doing €20K–€500K/month on Amazon.
1. Keyword research — We start with real search data. Not guesses, not competitor copy-paste. We identify primary, secondary, and long-tail keywords that your target buyers actually search for.
2. Title optimisation — Your title is the single biggest lever for CTR. We structure it for both algorithm and human readability: primary keyword first, brand, key differentiator, and size/variant.
3. Bullet points — Five bullets, each answering a different buyer objection. We lead with benefits, follow with features, and close with proof points.
4. Product description — Often overlooked, but critical for SEO and A9 indexing. We write scannable, benefit-driven copy that reinforces the bullets.
5. Search terms — Backend keywords that capture additional search volume without keyword stuffing the visible content.
6. Main image — The #1 CTR driver. We design hero images that stand out in search results through composition, contrast, and clear product presentation.
7. Secondary images — Infographics, lifestyle shots, comparison charts, and size guides. Each image answers a specific buyer question.
8. A+ Content — Brand story modules, comparison tables, and rich media that increase CVR by 5-10% on average.
9. Pricing strategy — We analyse competitor pricing and recommend positioning that maximises margin without sacrificing conversion.
10. Monitor & iterate — Weekly tracking of CTR, CVR, rankings, and revenue. We A/B test images and copy to continuously improve performance.
